YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT ®ACQUAPROCESS

Can ®ACQUAPROCESS be used in my house?

The ®ACQUAPROCESS System is a real innovation in the field of water treatment which allows a natural, preventive and curative treatment of water circuits thanks to a unique process of Low Frequency Induction (ULF):

  • Avoiding the formation of limescale deposits.
  • Eliminating existing limescale incrustations.
  • Preventing the proliferation of algae.
  • Reducing microbial and bacterial presence.

Initially designed for industrial applications, it is also very effective in your house to eliminate limescale and legionella problems.

Is it more reliable than other anti-limescale systems?

The ®ACQUAPROCESS system consists of a generator that sends variable signals in frequency and power and transmits this energy to the water through an inductor. This energy modifies the calcite properties of the water by increasing its solubility power.

The inductor, winded directly on the pipe to be treated, creates a low frequency electric field. This energy transmitted to the water has the effect of promoting the formation of highly hydrated crystalline germs. The limescale is thus suspended in the water in a powdery and non-encrusting form.

Crystallization occurs in the water and not on the pipes and heaters.

The innovation is to have a process that adapts to the various variable parameters encountered, which gives it great reliability.
Indeed, the treatment of water is very complex, because it is necessary to take into account its TH, its PH, the flow, the configuration of the network, the temperature, which is different from one site to another, reason for which it is reproached to the majority of the systems present on the market not to be completely reliable.

The purpose of a chemical treatment is to act on the elements present in the water and modify the properties of the components present.

The performance of the ®ACQUAPROCESS system goes far beyond the treatment of limescale, a specific adaptation of this system allows it to have an action on the proliferation of bacteria (including legionella and algae), without chemical treatment.

When can water be considered pure?

Pure water does not exist in its natural state. In France, 62% of drinking water comes from underground resources (spring or deep groundwater) and 38% from surface water (river, lake).

The sanitary control program is governed by several legal texts that define the nature and number of water samples and analyses to be carried out. The distribution of drinking water is a public service entrusted to the local authorities, which are free to determine their management methods. The French regulation never uses the terms “drinking water” but a water fit for human consumption, and it must meet more than seventy health or environmental quality criteria. The requirement of this regulation is to ensure sanitary quality.

This is the principle stated in the Public Health Code article L.1321-1. When we talk about water quality, we refer to two aspects:

  • Health and hygiene,
  • Comfort and pleasure.

The search for comfort and pleasure may seem secondary to the health imperative. However, for consumers used to domestic comfort, it has also become essential.

Hard water refers to water that contains a lot of dissolved salts, such as calcium and magnesium salts, and is commonly referred to as hard water. For a healthy person, drinking hard water is safe.

Unpleasantness related to the use can appear for a water which is too hard, clogging of the pipes, inefficiency of the detergents, problems of corrosion, biofilm, bacteria.

Is the ®ACQUAPROCESS process certified?

Our ®ACQUAPROCESS process has the following qualities:

  • Industrial property protection for the European Union.
  • A QHE (Qualified Highly Environmental) classified system.
  • Ecolabel EU – NF Environnement (AFNOR September 2015).
  • Very low energy consumption of 10W/H, Class II.
  • No maintenance costs.
  • Easy to install, without any modification of the water system.
  • Effective, preventive and curative.

In France, we are considerably behind. Limescale costs us more than one billion Euros each year in maintenance and repair costs for pipes and boilers, whereas a large part of this amount could be saved by installing anti-limescale equipment.

But as long as there is no reconciliation between the capital budget and the maintenance budget, these facilities will not be considered as a priority.

What is the difference between ®ACQUAPROCESS and a water softener?

Resin water softeners change the chemical composition of water, usually by replacing calcium with sodium.

As a result, the water is indeed softer, but also more salty and therefore not recommended for people on a low-salt diet.

And that’s not the only drawback of resin water softeners. This type of device promotes bacterial growth, especially if the water is not drawn regularly, and pollutes by increasing sodium chlorine levels in surface water.

Softened water attacks the pipes, while a little scale tends to protect them.

Finally, these facilities are very expensive.
